Keto Friendly Fried Walleye Recipe
Catch and Cook with Cannon Downriggers

This delicious and simple recipe is perfect for individuals following a low-carb eating style or diabetics who enjoy fried fish. This is a very simple recipe that requires only a few ingredients.
How to make this simple keto-friendly salmon recipe
- Prep Time: 5 minutes
- Cook Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:
- 1lb walleye fillet serves two
- 1-2 eggs per every 1lb of fillets
- Regular or BBQ Pork Rinds
- Real Butter
- Optional: Lemon slices
Steps:
- Beat eggs in a shallow bowl to create your egg wash
- Crush pork rinds - simply mash them up in a gallon storage bag or you can use a chopper
- Set your non-stick frying pan to low and melt approx. 1 tablespoon of butter in a non-stick frying pan per 1lb of walleye
- Dip the walleye fillets in the egg wash and then toss the fillets in the crushed pork rinds
- Transfer fillets to the non-stick frying pan
- Cook until golden brown turning at least once (3-4min)
- The fish should be flaky when done. (Internal temp of 145°F)
Serve with lemon slices (optional) and any side salad or french fries - Enjoy!
